Mooresville is pulling out all the stops today for its big 150th anniversary celebration by combining a Downtown Food Truck Festival with a carny Pirate Ship Swing Ride for 4 hours. Just kidding. There’s also something called the Randy Marion Car Corral (!?).
But none of that even really matters.
Because we know the best reason for us all to come together on March 4th is to simply be together in the comforting hug of our 150 year old Downtown. Native Mooresvillians, long time residents (like us), and brand new neighbors will all witness a significant milestone in the history of a small, community-built southern town while wondering why our Town organizers thought a Pirate Ship Ride spoke to Mooresville’s past.
Stop by the MVL Store to pick up a souvenir we made special for the occasion, to have your picture made with our 150th 3-D Mural, and get an early look at the goodies we made for Spring!
