Join state and county fair ribbon winner, Kelly Sopp, in the kitchen of the Historic Turlington House for a fun afternoon of traditional food preservation and new culinary memories. Come get your hands pink as we pack our jars with various fresh beets from Carrigan Farms. Learn basic pickling and water bath canning techniques, enjoy a light lunch, and take home two pints of what Kelly calls, garden candy.
