Taste Full Beans (or TFB as the locals call it) is a family business run by none other than local author and Lenoir-Rhynes University poetry professor, Scott Owens. He and his family have transformed the cafe into a beautiful space for thought, conversation, and flavor appreciation. Check out the free library, array of poetry books, local art, and tea lover’s merchandise for sale. The menu features everything from homemade scones, to spicy avocado toast, to wraps & sandwiches, to salads that are healthy and loaded with flavor. With dozens of writers who call this college town home, you’re bound to be sipping your coffee next to a literary great.
